CLASSES
PRESCHOOL THROUGH K COMBO
45 min class.  All kindergarden & 4-5 pre-K dancers. Class will consist of pre-ballet, tap & pom pom. Dancers will dance with ribbons, scarves and pom poms.		   INTERMEDIATE TAP
45 minute class. Prerequisite: Must have at least 2 years of tap experience and know the intermediate basics of tap. Age level varies by permissiononly.
Class Attire: leotard, rights, shorts or jazz pants, black tap shoes — heels can be no higher than 1 1/2 inches.
BALLET, TAP COMBO
(1-3rd Grade)
1 hour class.  Class will consist of beginner ballet & tap techniques.  This class is considered part 1 & 2 of the 3 part combo class for 1-3 graders.  This level usually takes 2-3 years to complete depending on age. 		   ADVANCED TAP
45 minute class. Prerequisite: Must have at least 4 years of tap experience and know the intermediate basics of tap. Age level varies, by permission of instructor only.
Class Attire: leotard, rights, shorts or jazz pants, black tap shoes, any style. (Heels over an 1 1/2 high will n ot be allowed.)
POM / Hip hop (1-3 grade)
30 min class.  Class will consist of beginning hip hop & pom pom.  This class is considered part 3 of the 3 part combo class for 1-3 graders.		   HIGH SCHOOL HIP HOP
45 minute class. Acceptance into this class is by permission only. Hip Hop and Jazz require strenuous steps for the knees and backs. Dancers who h ave knee and back problems should not enroll in this class.
Class Attire: Black jazz sneakers, legs must be covered with jazz pants, hip hop pants, or shorts and tights.
4-6th GRADE BALLET
45 minute class. Ages vary depending on level of dance experience. Ballet barre and center are stressed. French terms are taught. Advancement is based upon ability and comprehension of the technique learned.
Class Attire: leotard, tights, pink ballets.
   MIDDLE SCHOOL THEATER JAZZ
45 minute class. Prerequisite: Dancers must be 9th grade or older. This class includes more of a Broadway/Classical jazz style. (Creating a character or situation through dance)
Class Attire: short/tight t-shirt, tights, shorts or jazz pants, soft black jazz shoes. (Shoes for recital will be determined by style of dance.)
INTERMEDIATE BALLET
1 hour class. Prerequisite : 6th grade and up with at least 3 years of previous ballet. Ages vary depending on level of dance experience. Ballet barre and center are stressed. French terms are taught. Advancement is based upon ability and comprehension of the techniques learned and ability to perform techniques. Advancement into this level is by perimssion of the instructor.
Class Attire: leotard, tights, pink ballets.		   HIGHS CHOOL THEATER DANCE
45 mnute class. Prerequisite: Dancers must be 9th grade or older. This class includes more of a Broadway/Classical jazz style. Creating a character or situation through dance. This class will also plan and build props for the recital.
Class Attire: short/tight t-shirt, tights, shorts or jazz pants, soft black jazz shoes. (Shoes for recital will be determined by style of dance.)
ADVANCED BALLET
1 hour class. Prerequisite: 5 years of ballet or permission from the instructor. Ages vary depending on level o f dance experience. Ballet barre and center are stressed. French terms are taught. Advancement is based upon ability and comprehension of the techniques learned and ability to perform techniques. Advancement into this level is only by permission of the instructor.
Class Attire: leotard, tights, pink ballets.		   MIDDLE SCHOOL LYRICAL/MODERN
1 hour class. Prerequisite: Dancer must be 6-8th grade or older and have one or more years of jazz and ballet experience. This class combines ballet and jazz into a free-form lyrical style.
Class Attiure: leotard, footless tights or short/tight t-shirt or tank, shorts or jazz pants, pink ballets or lyrical shoes (foot undies).

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE POINTE’
1 hour class.  Prerequisite:  3 years of ballet training.  Must be enrolled in intermediate or advanced ballet to take pointe. Ages vary. Using basic to intermediate techniques and strengthening excersices.  After one year of pointe, if the instructor does not think the student is making progress, she has the right to take the student off of pointe.  Advancement out of this level is by permission of the instructor only.  Class attire:  leotard, tights, may wear skirt or tight fitting shorts, pointe shoes.

   HIGH SCHOOL LYRICA/MODERN
1 hour class. Prerequisite: Dancers must be in high school or older and have one or more years of jazz and ballet experience. This class combines ballet and jazz into a free-form lyrical style.
Class Attiure: leotard, footless tights or short/tight t-shirt or tank, shorts or jazz pants, pink ballets or lyrical shoes (foot undies).
ADVANCED POINTE’
1 hour class.. Prerequisite: Must be enrolled in advanced ballet and have permission from the instructor. Working on advanced techniques, turns and leaps.
Class Attire: leotard, tights, pink ballets and pointe’ shoes.		   CONTEMPORARY
1 hour class. Prerequisite: Dancers must be 10th grade or older. Contemporary is a dance style where the moves are very abstract and free-form. In contemporary dance you have to dance witha lot of emotion so the story will come across.
Class Attire: short/right t=shirt or tank, shorts and tootless tights, toe undies.
    NOTE: Dancers may not wear coats, sweats, or jeans in class.hair must be up and out of the face and off of the neck.
